Hello dear reader and welcome to what will probably be the worst blog you've ever read. Why? I have no clue what I'm doing! Anyways, lets get down to some important questions!

Q1. Why the name?

A1. From my postings in the past on various sites one should know that I am a Phillies fan. For this reason I was a fan of former Phillies OF Aaron Altherr. I had, at one time, thought jokingly that of something to the effect of an amalgamation of Altherr's name and "alternate" in regards to an alternate account name. Given my inability to create a good name and my generally contrarian views though, this morphed into the best possible name for this blog.

Q2. What are the sections of this blog?

A2. This blog is highly tagged for ease of navigation. Since I could not make several pages with their own posts, i.e. several smaller blogs, here are the tags for certain content:

• The Home page
• Broad Street Bombers, for the baseball content. I'm a Phillies fan and why not play off the old Yankees moniker with guys like Schwarber, Harper, Hoskins, and Castellanos in town?
  
• The Ristoliance, a hockey tab, named after the much-maligned Flyers defenseman. I'm sure someone's done this one before, but I'm using it nonetheless. (coming soon)
  
• The Card Corner, a tab on trading cards. Card collecting is a hobby of mine, and I hope to discuss some of my collecting here. (work in progress)
• And of course this About page.

    Naturally there will be more with time, this is just what I have planned for now.
